The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) on Monday 19, August 2024 launched a new scheme that will help spur economic growth in Greater Noida’s Sector 22D and Sector 22A. Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Authority launched this scheme as a major initiative to transform Uttar Pradesh into an ‘Uttam Pradesh’ by boosting commercial activities.
YEIDA launches diverse retail space options
The new layout would be divided into various shops and commercial plots that will boost growth and also help in drawing investments. The statement of YEIDA in the press reads that this will cut on the time in actual distribution of five types of shops and six types of commercial plots offering business and investment opportunities.
For retail spaces, the scheme is giving shops in Sector 22D with an area between 31.22 square meters to 116.33 square meters. Of these, shops SR-111 and SR-113R are earmarked, each for a space of 31.22 square meters and a reserve price premium of Rs 1.19 crore each. Others are larger spaces: SR-101 and SR-201, which are 116.33 square meters, have reserve price premiums of Rs 4.44 crore and Rs 2.06 crore, respectively. SR-202 is another option, measuring 105.4 square meters with a reserve price premium of Rs 1.87 crore.
Exclusive plots in sector 22A
Commercial plots are the focus in Sector 22A. Plots under commercial footprints Nos. 5 and 7, measuring 112 square meters each, were hence with an aggregate reserve price premium of Rs 3.05 crore. Bigger plots like those under footprints Nos. Plots numbered 10, 12, and 13, each covering 124 square meters, have a premium price of Rs 3.38 crore. The biggest plot, footprint No. 22, offers 140 square meters with a reserve price of Rs 3.81 crore.
Prime retail spaces up for auction
Application for these commercial spaces is now open online, and the process will close on September 6. The e-auctioning process for allocation with ICICI Bank, the banking partner, commenced now. The Authority has allotted these shops and plots near key city landmarks, including the upcoming Jewar International Airport, the International Film City, the Medical Device Park, and the upcoming MSME Apparel and Toy Park. The other merit is that these industrial plots also reside in the embrace of the Yamuna expressway and eastern peripheral expressway, making them extensively connected and accessible.
