UP: Four Dead, Several Injured In Bus-Tempo Crash On Purvanchal Expressway |Watch Video

SP Dinesh Kumar Singh informed that the passengers are being dispatched by other vehicles and those in critical condition are being sent to the Trauma Centre. SDRF and Fire Services Team are at the spot and further investigations are underway informed the police.

Barabanki: Atleast four people were killed and several others injured after a bus and tempo collided on the Purvanchal Expressway in Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred after a bus travelling from Chhattisgarh to Ayodhya undergoing repairs on the expressway was hit by a tempo traveler. The tempo was heading to Ayodhya. Three people died on-spot, while one succumbed to injuries while en route to the hospital, stated the police.

Talking to ANI, SP Dinesh Kumar Singh informed that the passengers are being dispatched by other vehicles and those in critical condition are being sent to the Trauma Centre.

“A bus broke down on its way to Ayodhya from Chhattisgarh and was being repaired. A traveller, also going towards Ayodhya, crashed into the bus… 3 people died on the spot in the traveller, while one died on the way to,” he added.

“Passengers are being dispatched by other vehicles…The seriously injured ones are being sent to Trauma Centre,” Singh stated.
