A shocking incident has been reported from Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh where a five-year-old girl has been raped by children of tenants. All of the boys are minors and aged 6, 13 and 16 years old. Police have filed a case on complaint of victim’s mother. The case has been registered at Ballia Police station and further investigation is carried.
What Did The Police Say?
According to Superintendent of Police, Ballia, Vikrant Vir, victim’s mother alleged that her daughter has been raped by three children of two of her tenants. SP said, “On the complaint of the mother of the five-year-old girl, the police have filed a case against the three children. Police say that a case has been registered in this matter and along with inspecting the crime scene, the three children have been identified and legal action is being taken.”
He further informed that crime scene has also been inspected with aid of Forensic team and legal action has been taken by identification of the three children.
According to Station House Officer (SHO), Yogendra Bahadur Singh, police registered case against the accused under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on Friday. He further told that SP Ballia also visited and inspected the crime scene.
