Firozabad Factory Explosion: An explosion took place on Tuesday at a firecracker factory in Firozabad’s Naushera. Four people have been killed and six others, who were injured, are being treated, according to a senior police official on Tuesday. Several people are feared to be trapped under the debris as the house has collapsed, the police said.

In Shikohabad, fire crackers kept in a house have exploded due to the same, causing the roofing of the nearby house to collapse. It is here that 10 people have been rescued by the police. Six are being treated in a hospital, whereas four have lost their lives. The rescue operation is still underway, said IG Agra Range Deepak Kumar.
Firozabad District Magistrate Ramesh Ranjan said rescue operations were going on.
“Rescue teams are present. Both district and sub-district hospitals are in red alert, and doctors, ambulances, the fire team, and the disaster team are all at the location,” he added.
