UP: 25-Year-Old Man Found Hanging In Room After Wife Moves To Parental Home In Meerut

The police stated that the man was distressed because his wife had not returned from her parental home and took the extreme step.

In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old man died by suicide on Saturday, reportedly due to frustration over issues with his wife. The incident has been reported from Meerut’s Lohia Nagar in Uttar Pradesh. He was found hanging from a dupatta on a hook in the garter on the ceiling of the room. The deceased identified as Aman, had been married to a woman from Jewar for two years. They had a son, and she had been living with the child at her parents’ house for the past four months.

Father Speaks Up On Son’s Demise

Aman’s father Brijgopal informed that his son was married to a girl from Jewar two years ago. The couple had a son after. However, things didn’t go well as the couple started having disputes. After some time, the woman left and went to her parent’s home with the child. Aman kept trying to call his wife back home but she didn’t listen. He was upset after his messages were regularly ignored.

Narrating the sequence of events, Police stated that after having dinner on Friday night, he went to his room. When he did not come out for a long time on Saturday morning, the family got worried. They looked through the window, and were shocked to him hanging inside.

The family somehow brought him down and took him to the hospital, where he was declared dead. SP City Ayush Vikram Singh said that no one has given a complaint in this matter. The body has been sent for post-mortem and police are investigating further.
