The unseasonal rainfall has damaged crops across several districts in Marathwada, West Maharashtra, and Vidarbha. In the Manora tehsil of Washim district, valuable grains brought by farmers for sale-such as Bhuimug, Moong, Chana, and Toor-were left in the open and got completely soaked due to the heavy downpour.

To do this, the farmer protects his peanut crop from getting washed away by sitting and sometimes lying in the rain.
