Nitin Gadkari: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday inaugurated seven new National Highway projects worth 6500 crores in Chibada Village, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh.
Addressing the rally on this occasion, the Union Minister said with the construction of the Ballia link highway, reaching Patna from Lucknow would be easy via Purvanchal Expressway in less than 5 hours.
“Ballia to Buxar can be reached in half an hour, Ballia to Chapra in one hour and Ballia to Patna will be reached in one and half hours,” Nitin Gadkari said.
The construction of Greenfield Highway in eastern UP would give better connectivity with Chhapra, Patna, and Buxar in Bihar, he added.

The Union Minister said that the vegetables of farmers of Ballia will reach the Mandis of Varanasi, Patna, and Lucknow easily. Vegetable-producing farmers will be benefited directly through three multimodal terminals in Varanasi, Ghazipur, and Haldia through this expressway, Nitin Gadkari said.
Gadkari announced that the greenfield road from Chandauli to Mohania will give better connectivity to Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh and Kaimur in Bihar through Delhi Kolkata GT Road.
