A collision between a truck and a bus resulted in the loss of 11 lives and left 12 others injured in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The bus, en route from Pushkar, Rajasthan, to Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, experienced the accident around 4.30 AM on the National Highway.
The mishap occurred when the bus broke down on a bridge. According to a survivor, the bus driver and some passengers were positioned behind the bus when the speeding truck collided with it.

The bus had come to a halt on Antra flyover in the Lakhanpur area due to less fuel when the truck struck from the rear. Tragically, five men and six women lost their lives at the scene. Mridul Kachawa, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Bharatpur, explained, “The bus was stationary on the highway as repair work was in progress. Some passengers were inside the bus, while others were outside when the collision occurred.”The police have initiated an investigation into the accident.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed condolences for the deceased, conveying wishes for a swift recovery for the injured.
