To reach Jhilmil Cave, two routes are at your disposal. The first option entails taking the Badrinath Highway, approximately 12 km from Rishikesh, followed by a 30 km journey along the Neelkanth motorway. Please note that this route can be a bit dusty.

The second, more adventurous option involves a trek of 5 to 6 hours starting from the Ramjhula Bridge. Keep in mind that the cave resides within the Rajaji National Park, particularly the Manikoot Kajri Van area. Due to the presence of elephants and leopards, it is advisable to complete the trek before sunset.

While Jhilmil Cave shines brightly in its own right, it is not alone in its splendor. Nearby, you’ll find two other caves: Ganesh Gufa and Hanuman Gufa. Every morning and evening, Naga Sadhus gather to perform rituals and group prayers within the hallowed confines of Jhilmil Cave.
