Vrindavan: In a heartwarming and unusual love tale, Vrindavan, the city of Lord Krishna, witnessed a unique bond between a Russian woman and a dedicated cowherd named Rajkaran. The story of their love and devotion has become a topic of discussion in the entire Brij area.

Yuna, a 36-year-old woman hailing from Russia, was drawn to Vrindavan by the deep devotion and spirituality surrounding Lord Krishna. She immersed herself in the service of Banke Bihari, engaging in acts of worship and service. It was during this time that Yuna crossed paths with Rajkaran, a 35-year-old cowherd who had been living in Vrindavan for nearly two decades, dedicatedly tending to the cows.

Both Rajkaran and Yuna had a shared passion for serving cows, and this common interest brought them closer. Over time, their connection deepened, and they fell in love with each other. In April 2023, they took their relationship to the next level and got married in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Delhi.

Their days are now filled with caring for and serving the cows, a symbol of their shared love and devotion. In the evenings, they selflessly feed people near the ISKCON temple in Vrindavan and distribute religious books and sandalwood.

Despite Rajkaran’s lack of formal education and limited Hindi proficiency, he manages to communicate the language of love to Yuna. On the other hand, Yuna has wholeheartedly embraced Indian culture after marriage. She adorns vermilion in her maang (the parting of the hair), wears a mangalsutra (a symbol of marital status) around her neck, and anklets on her feet, reflecting her commitment to her new life in Vrindavan.
