In the latest, a picture has surfaced on social media platform Twitter where Sadaqat was seen shaking hands with SP chief and Leader of the Opposition of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Akhilesh Yadav.

However, the SP leaders have also shared an image of Sadaqat with BJP MLA Neelam Karwariya’s husband Uday Bhan Karwariya.

News24 does not verify the authencity of these images independently.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak called the SP a “nursery of criminals” while asserting that the Yogi Adityanath-led ruling government has “zero-tolerance” against crime.

“Our government has a zero tolerance against crime. The whole state knows that the Samajwadi Party is a nursery of criminals. But we are committed to ensure that no matter what reach any criminal has, we will not spare that person,” said the minister.

Sharing an image of Sadaqat Khan, national spokerperson of SP Ameeque Jamei wrote, “Sadaqat’s photo with Neelam’s husband Udaybhan Karwariya at former BJP MLA Neelam Karwariya’s house shows the connection of this incident with BJP.”
