Umesh Pal murder case: One of the accused in the Umesh Pal murder case of Prayagraj ‘Arbaz’ has been shot down in an encounter with Prayagraj Police on Monday. According to the sources, the encounter took place near Nehru Park of Dhumanganj.

As per the information, Arbaz was the driver of the vehicle used for Umesh’s pal’s murder. 

Umesh Pal was shot dead in Prayagraj on Friday evening. He was the main witness of the famous Raju Pal murder case of Prayagraj. Raju Pal, a BSP MLA, was murdered in 2005. Former MP Atiq Ahmed is an accused in this murder case.

According to UP Police, Umesh Pal was attacked when he was returning home from somewhere. As soon as he got down from his car, a young man started firing at him. While others started hurling bombs at them. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.

“The information about the attack on Umesh Pal was received at around 5 PM. As soon as he reached his home, he was attacked. In this incident, Umesh Pal died,” Prayagraj Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma said.
