On Friday, the National Testing Agency (NTA) revealed the revised schedule for the UGC-NET 2024 exam. According to an NTA notification released on Friday, the exam is now rescheduled to take place between August 21 and September 4.
The UGC-NET June 2024 Cycle exam, which was previously conducted in pen and paper (offline) mode, will now be administered as a Computer-Based Test (CBT), according to the notification.
Additionally, the Computer-Based Test for NCET 2024 is scheduled for July 10, 2024, and the Joint CSIR-UGC NET exam will take place from July 25 to July 27, 2024. Meanwhile, the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2024 will proceed as planned on July 6, 2024.

Regarding the UGC-NET paper leak case, the UGC-NET 2024 exam for selecting junior research fellows, assistant professors, and PhD scholars was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 18. The exam took place at 1,205 centers across 317 cities, with over 11 lakh candidates participating.
However, the exam was canceled the following day after Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the question paper had been leaked on the darknet. The case was subsequently handed over to the CBI for investigation.
