Arton Capital, a global citizenship financial advisory firm, has released the Passport Index for the first quarter of 2024. In this index, the passport of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been ranked as the most powerful, with a mobility score of 180 while the India’s mobility is ranket 77. The UAE’s passport is the strongest travel document globally.
Holders of UAE passports can travel to 130 countries without prior visas and can avail visa-on-arrival in 50 countries. The strength of the UAE passport is evident as its holders enjoy visa-free entry to 123 countries, according to a report by Gulf Today. Arton Capital attributes the strength of the UAE passport to the country’s positive diplomatic strategies.
In the year 2024, Arton Capital’s Passport Index highlights the UAE’s commitment to positive diplomatic policies, resulting in the robustness of its passport, recognized as the world’s most powerful travel document with a mobility score of 180.

UAE passport holders have visa-free access to 123 countries, and they can travel to 130 countries without the need for prior visas. Additionally, they can benefit from visa-on-arrival facilities in 50 countries, making the UAE passport a global leader in terms of travel freedom. The report by Gulf Today emphasizes the strategic and positive diplomatic initiatives adopted by the UAE, contributing to the strength of its passport.
In the Arton Capital Passport Index, India’s passport has been ranked 66th globally. The mobility score for the Indian passport is 77, allowing passport holders to travel to 77 countries. Indian passport holders can enjoy visa-free entry to 24 countries.
On the other hand, Pakistan has secured the lowest position in this list. The Pakistani passport has a mobility score of 47, making it the fifth least powerful travel document globally. Holders of Pakistani passports have visa-free entry to only 11 countries worldwide. This highlights the disparity in global travel freedom between Indian and Pakistani passport holders, according to the Passport Index by Arton Capital.
