Two minor girls were sexually assaulted in Maharashtra’s Pune. The minor girls belong to a street vendor’s family. The incident occurred on March 17 in Shivajinagar area.
Upon receiving a complaint from the girls’ mother, the police have registered a case against two minor boys and their mother.
According to police, the girls sell plastic bags, flowers, and other items for the family’s living. The victim girls are sisters. The minor boys approached them, who was known to them as one of their elder sisters was married to the boy’s brother.
The boys lured them that they were heading to meet their sister. The girls also went with them, where they allegedly sexually assaulted them and later dropped them off at their home.
The girls narrated their ordeal to their mother, who lodged a complaint with the police. A senior police inspector said the police have launched a probe into the matter.
