New Delhi: While telling about meeting a widow whose farmer husband died by suicide under pressure of a huge loan, Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi pointed at the gap between two types of India.

Rahul Gandhi met the lady in Karnataka during his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ campaign. He posted a tweet where he “denied” to accept “Do Bharat” (Two India) as he points finger at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleging that the later waives off debts of “capitalists”.

“Yesterday I met a lady, her farmer husband committed suicide due to debt of Rs 50,000,” tweed Gandhi.

He continued, “Ek Bharat: 6% interest loan to capitalist friends and loan waiver of crores Second India: A life full of debt and hardships at 24% interest to the food donors This ‘two India’ in one country, we will not accept.”
