New Delhi: Twitter locked the account of news agency Asia News International(ANI) as the account did not meet the minimum age criteria to operate the account at a micro-blogging site.
ANI Editor Smita Prakash shared the information on her Twitter handle.
“So those who follow @ANI bad news, @Twitter has locked out India’s largest news agency which has 7.6 million followers and sent this mail – under 13 years of age! Our gold tick was taken away, substituted with a blue tick and now locked out. @elonmusk,” tweeted Prakash.

She said that an earlier micro-blogging company substituted the ANI handle with a blue tick from a gold tick and now they have locked the account.
