New Delhi: The 103-meter high twin tower built in Sector-93A of Noida will be demolished today. It will be blown up with explosives at 2.30 pm today. For the first time in the country such a tall building will be demolished. 3700 kg of explosives have been planted on different floors in the building. People living in the surrounding societies have started vacating the flats. The police is constantly getting the people to vacate the area.

3700 kg of gunpowder planted

Noida Expressway will remain closed from 2:15 pm to 3 pm. 3700 kg of gunpowder has been filled in these towers by drilling 9,640 holes, which will destroy these buildings higher than Qutub Minar within 9 seconds. The study has been done through experts about the vibrations that will happen after the explosion and subsequent collapse.

This is the plan of traffic diversion

A complete plan for traffic diversion has also been prepared. An advisory has been issued by the Commissionerate of Police, Gautam Buddha Nagar regarding diversion. So that the common man does not face any kind of trouble on that day, people have been advised to use alternate routes.

It was apprised by the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board that after the demolition action by them. Air quality monitoring stations have been set up at total 6 places in the affected area to measure the air pollution, which started functioning from tomorrow morning. Apart from this, air quality will also be monitored by Noida Authority from three Air Quality Index Monitoring Stations having live data through ITMS.

Anti-smog guns have been installed

Anti-smog guns have been installed by the authority at 15 places to check air dust pollution near residential premises near the workplace. Along with this, a water tanker is also being arranged with each anti smog gun to ensure water supply to the anti smog guns.

28,000 metric tons of debris

According to the company that is taking the demolition process, about 28,000 metric tons of debris will be transported to the Authority’s waste processing plant located in Sector 80 for scientific disposal as per the standards.
