Mathura: In a horrifying incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura, a 5-year-old boy met a tragic end when he was brutally beaten to death by an elderly man.
A distressing video of the incident has been circulating widely on social media, showing the perpetrator repeatedly hurling the child to the ground.
The attacker has been identified by the police as 52-year-old Omprakash, who was dressed as a seer during the incident. The motive behind this gruesome act remains unknown.

Local sources revealed that the accused was engaged in performing the Saptkosi Yatra ritual. Interestingly, the deceased child’s father operates a small general store along the route of this yatra.
Police investigations have indicated that Omprakash picked up the young child and mercilessly threw him to the ground multiple times, the reasons for which are yet to be ascertained. Outraged by this tragic occurrence, the locals apprehended the assailant and subjected him to physical assault before turning him over to the police.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Trigun Bisen stated that the motive behind this heart-wrenching incident will be unraveled after a thorough interrogation of the seer, once his medical condition stabilizes in the hospital.
