The official Twitter account of All India Trinamool Congress was hacked on Tuesday. The display picture (DP) of the party’s account was changed and the display handle name was changed to Yug Labs. It has been said on behalf of the party that a complaint has been made. As of now, the cyber criminals have not posted any tweets from the hacked account.

Yug Labs is a blockchain technology company based in the US that develops NFTs and digital collectibles. It also specializes in cryptocurrency and digital media.

Last year YSR Congress account was hacked 

On December 10 last year, the official Twitter account of YSR Congress was hacked. The hacked YSR Congress Twitter account was said to promote crypto-currency. The Twitter bio of the party was changed to ‘NFT Millionaire’ and the display photo (DP) was replaced with a picture of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) museum.

Earlier in October, the official Twitter account of the Telugu Desam Party was also hacked. In April 2022, the official Twitter account of the Chief Minister’s Office of Uttar Pradesh was hacked. The hackers had removed the Chief Minister’s display picture from the Twitter handle. Even then the display photo (DP) was changed from the photo of UP CM Yogi Adityanath to the picture of BAYC collection.
