“We uphold the indomitable spirit of every Indian’s rights and the steadfast legacy of advocacy in the Trinamool. We extend our heartfelt wishes to all,” the party added.

It is worth noting that the tenure of Derek O’Brien, Sukhendu Sekhar Ray, and Dola Sen in the Rajya Sabha is coming to an end, which is why the TMC has decided to announce their candidatures once again.

The Election Commission (EC) has announced that elections for ten Rajya Sabha seats in Goa, Gujarat, and West Bengal will be held on July 24.

The TMC’s announcement of its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections comes as part of the party’s preparations for the upcoming polls. The party aims to secure its representation in the upper house of Parliament and continue its efforts to advocate for the rights and aspirations of the people.

The TMC’s decision to field these candidates reflects the party’s strategy to nominate experienced leaders who have contributed significantly to the party and have a strong track record of serving the people.
