Tirupati Laddu Row: The Supreme Court will reportedly hear petitions on Monday over allegations of animal fat being used to make the world-famous Tirupati ‘Prasadam.’
The allegations began after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu claimed that sub-standard ingredients like animal fat were used to make the traditional prasadam at the Sri Venkateswara temple during the previous YSRCP government.
According to reports, the petition filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy and former Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman YV Subba Reddy, demanded a public disclosure and thorough investigation into the matter.
