The land acquisition process has started in the New Noida Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region. With the farmers’ consent Noida Authority has appointed Tila Consultants as the consulting firm. A meeting took place between the company’s representatives and authority officials to discuss the land acquisition process. As part of the plan, the initial talks will be held with farmers for acquiring land in Sector 161, followed by land acquisition in New Noida.
The settlement area of ‘New Noida’ spans 209 square kilometers. The first step of acquisition begins at the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) adjacent villages. These include Sanwali and Jokhabad. Temporary office facilities will establish dialogue areas between officers and farmers at these destinations. The acquisition process will proceed by adding further territories from different villages. The process of land acquisition will begin soon.
The New Noida development area spanning 80 villages will be constructed according to the Noida Authority. The number of villages involved in this procedure is set to rise in upcoming days.
In the initial phase, 3,165 hectares of land across 15 villages will be acquired. The master plan is set to unfold in four phases, with completion targeted for 2041. Between 2027 and 2032, 3,798 hectares will be developed, followed by 5,908 hectares from 2032 to 2037, and 8,230 hectares between 2037 and 2041.
According to the New Noida Master Plan 2041, 40 percent of the land has been designated for industrial usage, 13 percent remains for residential purposes and 18 percent will be devoted to recreational spaces with green areas.
The development of this urban center will unite 80 villages between Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr districts into a population of approximately 6 lakh residents.
The officials at “Tila” Company are continuously having conversations with farmers to secure their agreement with the project. Company officials conduct discussions about land acquisition with all farmer families living across each village in the region. The municipality follows a fair process that depends on mutual agreement between parties. New Noida will speed up residential growth together with industrial development throughout the area.
