‘The Day We Remove Bihar From India, It Will Be Developed’: Kendriya Vidyalaya Teacher Suspended After Her Rant Video Goes Viral

A primary teacher of a central school in Bihar’s Jehanabad has been suspended after she questioned her posting in the state and used derogatory remarks against the people of Bihar and the state. She made a video clip of her remarks that has gone viral on social media.

In the video clip, She can be heard saying that she did not know what “mistake” she had committed that she got the posting in Bihar.  The teacher, Dipali Sah, said that the people of Bihar have “ zero civic sense”  and India is a developing nation just because of the state. 

She said in the viral clip, “ Kendriya Vidyalaya has so many schools in India, and it can give me posting in any of them. People do not like the Kolkata region, but I was even ready for that. One of my friends has been posted in Darjeeling. Can you imagine? Another friend got posted in Silchar Vow..What problem did  they have with me that they gave me posting in India’s most f…* region.”  She further said in the clip, “They could have given me posting in Goa or any station South or even Ladakh which is a hard station.”

She said, “India is a developing nation just because of Bihar. The day we remove Bihar from India, it will be developed.”

Samastipur MP Shambhavi expressed her displeasure and wrote a letter to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Commissioner, saying that her remarks were “inappropriate” and “unbecoming of an educator” 

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has suspended Dipali and attached her to the organisation’s headquarters in Misrikh. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan also asked her not to leave the station without the prior consent of the concerned official.
