Mumbra: A shocking incident took place in Thane district. The body of a 10-year-old girl was found in the lift duct of a building. Due to this, locals are furious about this issue. As per reports, the body of the minor girl was thrown in the lift duct after allegedly getting raped.
The body was found in the lift duct last night at 9:30 pm. The girl’s body was found in a half-naked condition in Thakurpada area of Mumbra. The 19-year-old accused Asif Akbar Mansuri, who lives in the building, took the girl home on the pretext of giving her toys and did bad things with her. In fear of getting caught, he threw the girl’s body down from the bathroom window.
When people heard the sound, they immediately looked in the lift duct and were shocked. Mumbra police arrested the accused Asif after the incident, he has confessed his crime. The fire brigade reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. The investigation is underway in this case.
