Telangana: Unidentified Man Throws Acid At Temple Employee At Bhu Lakshmimma Temple In Saidabad; Video Goes Viral

A video showing an unidentified man throwing acid on a temple worker in Telangana’s Saidabad went viral on social media.

In the viral clip, the unidentified man standing near the table where the temple accounts is seated at the Bhu Lakshmimma Temple in Saidabad. The accused had gone for a container while the temple worker was busy with paperwork. The man took out an acid and threw it at him. He immediately fled from the temple premises after the incident.

The victim, Gopi, is seen in pain and the other priests rush to rescue him. He was sent to Yashoda Hospital at Malakpet for treatment.

The police launched a probe into the matter after a complaint was filed. The cops are examining the CCTV footage. 

The police officials are trying to establish the motive behind the incident whether it was a personal rivalry or he was targeted for any other reason.
