Opinion polls for Telangana have predicted a win for Congress. According to Times Now-ETG, Congress takes home 60-70 while BRS takes 37-45 and Others scores 6-12, India TV CNX predicts that the Congress likely to 63-79, while BRS bags 31-47 seats and other at 7-11.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has nominated candidates for all 119 seats in the election. As part of the seat-sharing arrangement, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jana Sena, led by actor Pawan Kalyan, are contesting in 111 and 8 seats, respectively. Additionally, the Congress has allocated one seat to its ally, the CPI, and is contesting in the remaining 118 seats.
