A linkedIn post by a fired techie has gone viral on internet where he has shared his ‘Journey of Resilience’. Riyazuddin A, a software developer in his LinkedIn post narrated his ordeal when he was laid off from the job, but what caught attention of the netizens is his thank you note for Swiggy.

In his post, Riyazuddin has mentioned how Swiggy, an online food ordering & delivery company helped him during his difficult time. He said, he was having financial crisis with rejections piling up, no job and pending bills to pay. In such circumstances, Swiggy became a ray of hope for him. He decided to become a Swiggy delivery partner to meet his financial needs.

Riyazuddin writes, “I still remember those early morning rides, the blazing afternoon sun, the pouring rain, and those late-night deliveries. Each delivery wasn’t just about the earnings, it was a step forward in reclaiming my resilience. Swiggy gave me an opportunity to stay afloat when everything else seemed to sink”.

He also mentioned how Swiggy taught him ‘invaluable’ lessons of persistence, patience and humility. It wasn’t just a financial support. “Every order I delivered made me stronger”, said Riyazuddin.

While he has joined a new company now, he took to his social media handle to thank and bid farewell to Swiggy. He added, “While I’m excited for this fresh start, I want to take a moment to bid a proper farewell to my time with Swiggy. I owe a lot to those tough, heartful memories of the streets, the customers, and the support Swiggy provided when I needed it most”.

He also left an inspirational message for people going through times. “To anyone going through a tough time right now-hang in there. Sometimes, life’s unexpected detours lead us to places of growth and strength we never imagined”, he wrote.

Riyazuddin’s post received positive comments from netizens with people calling it an inspiring story. Many users congratulated and sent best wishes to him for his new beginning.
