Tantrik Inserts 18 Needles In Woman’s Skull, Unaware Family Gets To Know After CT Scan

A tantrik in Odisha, Santosh Rana, was arrested for inserting 18 needles into a 19-year-old woman’s head while pretending to treat her condition. A tantrik from Balangir district in Odisha was arrested after being accused of inserting multiple needles into a 19-year-old woman’s head while claiming to treat her medical condition. The woman was admitted to a hospital following the disturbing revelation.

The incident began when the woman and her parents, desperate for a solution to her ongoing health issues, sought help from the accused, Santosh Rana. The woman, who had been suffering from a condition for four years, had seen no improvement despite conventional medical treatments, leading her family to consult the tantrik.

During a treatment session, Rana reportedly took the woman into a separate room. After an hour, he brought her out, and her parents noticed she was in significant discomfort. Upon inspection, her father discovered eight needles embedded in her head. The woman was immediately taken to the hospital, where a CT scan revealed an additional 10 needles lodged in her skull.

The woman’s father recounted that his daughter had lost consciousness during the session and was unaware of the needles inserted into her head. Following the alarming discovery, a formal complaint was lodged with the police. Rana was subsequently arrested and is facing charges related to the incident.
