A shocking incident has come to light where a 19-year-old boy jumped off fourth floor of college hostel, after he claimed that he has superpowers. The incident has been reported from Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu. Fortunately, the boy sustained only injuries as a result of his action.

He has been identified as Prabhu, a third-year student studying Artificial Intelligence course at Karpagam Engineering College. He used to live in hostel of the college. He is native of Mekkur village in Erode district. As per reports, Prabhu had told his friends that he possesses superpowers and nothing harm could be done to him. The incident took place on Monday around 6: 30 pm.

As per ‘India Today’ report, CCTV footage shows Prabhu coming out of the room and walking straight towards corridor. He then climbs on cemented railing and at once jumps. The other two boys in corridor appear shocked by his action.

Prabhu’s friend told police that he showed strange and unusual behaviour days before the incident. He believed that he has superpowers and could jump from any building. Reportedly, he had told his friends that someone had performed black magic on him.

Prabhu Sustained Injuries

He has sustained multiple injuries to his hips, leg and face. He has been rushed to a private hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Chettipalaiyam Police have registered the case and launched investigation.

In another incident reported from Hyderabad, visually impaired elderly couple were rescued from their home by Police on Tuesday. The couple unaware of their 30-year-old son’s death were found living with his body for four days.
