A complaint has been filed against a judicial magistrate in Rajasthan for reportedly instructing a gang-rape survivor to remove her clothes in order to display her injuries. The incident happened on March 30, during the survivor's visit to provide her statement in the case, as stated in the FIR. Legal action has been initiated against the accused, Hindaun city judicial magistrate Ravindra Kumar, under Section 345 of the Indian Penal Code for wrongful confinement, as well as under pertinent clauses of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act (SC/ST Act).

As per the details in the FIR, the survivor has claimed that following her statement, the accused judicial magistrate requested her to remove her clothes to examine her injuries. Expressing discomfort, the victim objected to undressing in front of the judicial magistrate and stated that she would have complied if there were female judges present. According to authorities, the gang rape allegedly occurred on March 19 by several young suspects. Subsequently, the victim's family pursued legal action, prompting the lodging of a case at the Hindaun Sadar police station on March 27, as directed by the court. She underwent a medical examination conducted by the police, and on March 30, she attended the magistrate's court to provide her statement under the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) 164.
