On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Divya Yoga Mandir (Trust), Kripalu Bagh Ashram, and Divya Yoga Mandir Rammulkh Darbar have merged into one. Divya Yoga Mandir Rammulkh Darbar has been incorporated into Patanjali Yogpeeth, as announced by Patanjali Yogpeeth’s founder and president, Swami Ramdev, during a press conference.
The event was graced by Acharya Balkrishna and Yogaacharya Swami Lal Ji Maharaj. Speaking on this occasion, Swami Ramdev shared that 30 years ago, he had taken sanyas (renunciation) and named his institution Divya Yoga Mandir (Trust). Later, he discovered that Swami Ram Lal Ji’s institution, Divya Yoga Mandir Rammulkh Darbar, already existed. He described this merger as a remarkable coincidence, symbolizing the unity of both institutions.
Swami Ramdev emphasized the importance of maintaining the tradition of yoga, stating that Yogaacharya Swami Lal Maharaj Ji’s offering to Patanjali Yogpeeth on Ram Navami signifies a dedication to preserving yoga’s essence.
Vision For Ram Rajya
Swami Ramdev elaborated on the concept of Ram Rajya, describing Lord Rama as the embodiment of the nation, religion, culture, and human values. “Ram is our nature, our dignity, and our love, compassion, nationalism, spirituality, humanism, and equality. Our nation should be one where no one is sick, sorrowful, or impoverished, and where hatred and animosity are absent. Only then can Ram Rajya be established,” he said.
On Religious Procession Restrictions

Regarding the lifting of restrictions on Ram Navami processions in West Bengal, Swami Ramdev stated that such bans are politically motivated, aimed at vote-bank polarization. He emphasized that no restrictions should be placed on religious festivals like Ram Navami, Janmashtami, and Eid. “India is a land of eternal traditions, home to Ram, Krishna, Hanuman, and Shiva. Respect for all is inherent here. Hindutva does not promote hatred. Muslims, while upholding their faith, also recognize Lord Rama as their ancestor,” he added.
Support For Waqf Law
When asked about the Waqf Law, Swami Ramdev expressed support, stating that a uniform constitution and legal system should apply to all communities—Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, and Buddhists. He explained that the Waqf Law would strengthen this framework, and without it, different communities might demand separate boards. “Some political parties oppose the Waqf Law for vote-bank politics,” he noted.
Ram Navami Wishes And Remarks
On this occasion, Acharya Balkrishna extended Ram Navami wishes to all citizens, hoping that Lord Rama awakens in everyone’s life, energy, service, and emotions, fostering harmony and national service.
Swami Ramdev also supported the Uttarakhand government’s decision to rename villages, reflecting his endorsement of initiatives that celebrate cultural heritage.
Yoga For The Modern Era
Yoga Acharya Swami Lal Ji Maharaj praised Swami Yogeshwar Mahaprabhu Ram Lal Ji Maharaj for simplifying and promoting yoga throughout his life. He stated that Swami Ramdev’s efforts to make yoga popular in every household are unparalleled, and such a feat has never been achieved before and may not be replicated in the future.
