Sushil Modi, Former Deputy CM Of Bihar Passes Away At 72

Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Sushil Modi died at the age of 72. On May 14, his mortal remains will be taken to his residence in Patna's Rajendra Nagar area, where last rites will be performed later in the day.

Sushil Modi, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, passed away at the age of 72 on Monday. In April this year, Sushil Kumar Modi disclosed that he was suffering from cancer and announced that he would not contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections due to his poor health.

Tomorrow (May 14), they will transport the former Rajya Sabha MP’s mortal remains to his residence in Patna’s Rajendra Nagar area, where they will conduct the last rites later in the day.

Several Ministers Presented Their Heartfelt Condolences To Sushil Modi

Several BJP leaders, including the incumbent Bihar deputy chief ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, conveyed their condolences and expressed sorrow to Sushil Kumar Modi’s bereaved family.

Samrat Choudhary posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), offering a heartfelt tribute to the late Shri Sushil Kumar Modi ji, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and ex-Rajya Sabha MP, upon his demise. He expressed that this loss deeply affects Bihar BJP and offered prayers for peace, saying “Om Shanti Shanti.”
