New Delhi: Reacting to Union Minister Ramdas Athawale’s claim that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may return to NDA, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sushil Modi said that the saffron party has now shut doors.
Sushil Modi who used to be a deputy of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar asserted that Athawale is neither a BJP spokesperson nor an NDA spokespeson. He said the remarks he made are hi personal opinions.
Meanwhile, lashing out at the Bihar CM who had switched alliances many times in the past, Modi said BJP is not ready for Nitish Kumar. He said even so Nitish Kumar wants to return, he has lost the capability of transferring votes.
“In politics, you are important if you have the power of votes. Otherwise, you hold no importance…,” he added.

Sushil Modi said if Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not come in the Assembly Election there, then Nitish Kumar would not have won the seats he got. Kumar had won 44 seats in the Vidhan Sabha Elections.

Speaking on Nitish Kumar’s reliance, former Bihar deputy CM said, “Nitish Kumar has become a burden, I doubt if RJD will be able to bear it for long. His capability to transfer votes has ended.”
Earlier, BJP’s ally Ramdas Athawale on Saturday claimed that Nitish Kumar can return to the NDA anytime. That has sparked a row in Bihar, while many from the saffron party saying that they will not welcome Bihar CM this time.
