Supreme Court Youtube Channel Hacked: The Supreme Court Of India’s YouTube channel was reportedly hacked on Friday and it displayed videos promoting cryptocurrency developed by a US-based company named Ripple Labs.

A blank video with the title “Brad Garling House: Ripple Responds To The SEC’s $2 Billion Fine! XRP PRICE PREDICTION” is live currently on the Top Court’s channel.

Why Did The Supreme Court Have This Channel

The apex court uses this channel to stream the live hearings listed before constitution benches and the matters involving public interest.

In a recent full court meeting led by former CJI UU Lalit, the top court has decided to live-stream all constitution bench hearings, following a groundbreaking 2018 ruling on the issue.
