The Supreme Court: The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed union and state governments to comply with its direction to install CCTV cameras in police stations and offices of probe agencies in one month. A constitutional bench headed by justice BR Gavai asked center and state governments to file their completion affidavit by March 29. In the order, the court asked to install CCTV in the offices of agencies, including  CBI, ED, and NIA. The Central government informed the court that CCTVS will be set up at the CBI headquarters and its branches by the end of next month. Centre informed the court that CCTVs have been installed completely in the Offices of narcotics Bureau, serious fraud investigation office, and Directorate of Revenue intelligence.
