Supertech Cape Town: Young Man Saved From Suicide Attempt By Timely Intervention

Supertech Cape Town: A startling incident unfolded at the Supertech Cape Town Housing Society in Noida’s Sector 74 on Monday. A man attempted to commit suicide by hanging from the 12th floor, causing panic among the residents and chaos within the society.

Chaos and Quick Action

Upon witnessing the man’s distressing act, nearby residents were alarmed and began to shout, leading to a scene of turmoil within the society. However, some residents acted swiftly and managed to grab the man from behind, safely rescuing him from the ledge.

Viral Video and Police Investigation

A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter. Reports suggest that the young man suffers from mental health issues and is currently undergoing treatment.

Family’s Concern

According to the man’s family, he has been mentally unstable, which led to this unfortunate event. It was revealed that the family moved into the society from CC 1 in August and had lived there for about three to four years. Prior to the incident, the young man had locked his family inside their home.

Police Report

The media cell of Noida police reported that at around 10:30 AM, a call was made to Dial 112 informing them of the man’s suicide attempt from the 14th floor of the Supertech Cape Town building. The 21-year-old resident of Sector 41 in Noida is mentally ill, and authorities confirmed that the situation is now under control.
