Suhani Chauhan, a twelfth-grade student at Amity International School was honored with the prestigious ‘Arya Navachar Samman’ at the ‘Rashtriya Arya Buddhijivi Sammelan’ hosted at Malviya Nagar, New Delhi.
She was recognized for her exceptional and groundbreaking innovation ‘Suraksha Kavach’ – a safety shield crafted from aluminium sheet with comes with an attached handle. The innovative shield is designed to provide protection against the intense heat of Yagna Kund. The fact that the Kavach is already patented is what makes this brilliant innovation standout.

Bansuri Swaraj Lauds Suhani’s Innovation
The Chief Guest at the event Ms. Bansuri Swaraj, Member of the Lok Sabha offered her heartfelt congratulations to Suhani, praising her unique innovation. She lauded her remarkable achievement directed at betterment of the society and highlighted the significance of innovation for every field. Additionally, she urged everyone to imbibe the teachings of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Vikshit Bharat 2047.
Suhani Reveals Her Inspiration Behind The Innovation
On her groundbreaking innovation, Ms. Suhani Chauhan expressed her excitement, stating, “I am privileged to receive this award and owe this honor to my grandparents.” She further added that the havan ceremonies held daily at home and school has inspired her. According to Suhani, the idea to create a protective shield sparked her mind after she observed Shastriji’s struggle with the intense heat while performing yagya. “I’m thrilled to see how this innovation can benefit society”, she remarked.
Suhani Earns ‘Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar’
This year, Suhani Chauhan also earned the prestigious ‘Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar’ Award for her innovation ‘So-Apt’ which is a unique solar-powered Agri-Vehicle to transform the agriculture sector.
The event was graced by distinguished Guest – Thakur Vikram Singh, Shri Anil Arya, National President of Kendriya Arya Yuvak Parishad, Delhi, Shri Anand Chauhan, Trustee of RBEF, and Arya Samaj members.
