The convocation ceremony was held at the signature media institute of BAG Films & Media Ltd – ISOMES. As the program began, CMD Anurradha Prasad welcomed Padma Shri Manoj Bajpayee with a memento & shawl. Students of Mass Communication & Journalism as well as other diploma courses were given their certificates.
Renowned film actor Manoj Bajpayee graced the occasion as the chief guest. CMD Prasad enlightened the students about journalism as the fourth pillar of democracy and asked them to take an oath to work all their lives on the values & ethics of journalism and do fearless and unbiased journalism.
During the Convocation ceremony held on Thursday, degree, diploma & short-term students from batches 2017-2020, 2018-2021, 2019-2022, and 2020-2023 were conferred certificates.
The program started with the showreel of ISOMES that showed the exemplary 20 years & journey of the institution. The film showed how the students of journalism, television production & direction, and other technical courses are excelling at notable media houses. Students have left their mark on the news to cinema industries. During their training, they learn from experts & veteran media professionals.
Chief Guest, Manoj Bajpayee shared his experiences and struggles of his life and motivated the students to be successful in their journalistic career. Manak Gupta, Anchor of News24 Channel, interviewed the actor on interesting subjects of media & film industries.
