Strong Winds Wreak Havoc In Qaziabad Market In North Kashmir; Vehicles And Infrastructure Damaged

Multiple electric cables, rooftops, and other infrastructure were damaged across the area, resulting in a complete disruption of the power supply.

Strong winds swept through various parts of Langate in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday evening, causing damage to property and infrastructure. Eyewitnesses reported that several private cars parked along the roadside in the Qaziabad and Kralgund Market areas were badly damaged due to the collapse of rooftops and electric poles.

Additionally, multiple electric cables, rooftops, and other infrastructure were damaged across the area, resulting in a complete disruption of the power supply. Police officials arrived at the scene and urged people to remain indoors and stay away from damaged electrical infrastructure for their safety. Meanwhile, restoration work has also started to clear the roads and restore electricity and normal traffic movement.
