Bikaner, Rajasthan: A unique incident has come to light in Toliasar village of Sridungagarh tehsil, which not only surprised the villagers but also touched their hearts. A stolen motorcycle was returned by the thief two days later-right in front of the famous Kal Bhairav temple in the village. But what made it more astonishing was how it was returned. The thief came back with his head bowed, holding his ears, and folded hands, asking forgiveness.
The incident took place on April 2, when a young man had come to attend a ‘Jagran’ at the temple. The next morning, his motorcycle was found missing, causing a stir throughout the village. Upon checking the footage from the CCTV cameras installed in the temple premises, it became clear that the bike had been stolen.
What happened next seems like a movie plot. Two days later, the thief returned to the temple-not to steal again, but to return the bike. He bowed his head in front of the temple, held his ears while doing squats as a form of repentance, and seeking forgiveness from the diety.
After this he quietly parked the motorcycle in the same place from where he stole it. This incident has become the talk of the village. Some believe it to be a miracle of Bhairav Baba, while others feel that the thief still had a sense of humanity left in him—which finally awakened.
