New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi arrived in Karnataka’s Mysuru on Monday to take part in Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Sonia Gandhi will join a foot march along with Congress leaders and workers on October 6 after a two days break upon reaching Coorg on Monday.
Rahul Gandhi will also be there with Sonia during the break and the duo will proceed on the Bharat Jodo Yatra together on October 6.
This will be for the first time that Sonia will be participating in the yatra which has entered its 26th day.
Neither rains, nor heat or cold can batter this yatra: Rahul
Amidst heavy rains on Sunday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi continued addressing the public rally in Mysuru and asserted that nothing can “stop us to unite the country”.
“Neither rains, nor heat or cold can stop this yatra,” Gandhi scion said, adding that this journey will continue from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and will not stop.
Sharing the video, Rahul Gandhi in a tweet said: “In uniting India, No one can stop us. From raising the voice of India, no one can stop us. Will go from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, no one can stop the Bharat Jodo Yatra.”
