New Delhi: A team of security forces left for Ajnabejan on Sunday to bring back gangster Sachin, an alleged mastermind behind Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala Bishnoi. As per reports a special Cell Counter Intelligence Unit team, including an ACP and 2 inspectors, and 2 other officials, will reach Azerbaijan by tonight. 

After reaching Azerbaijan, the team will complete the necessary formalities to bring Sachin Bishnoi to India.

In a major success, Sachin Bishnoi, the first gangster who is being extradited to India in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Significantly, Sachin Bishnoi is said to be the mastermind of the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala. He himself took responsibility for the high-profile murder by calling News 18 news channel. As per the information, the police will initiate robust interrogation after bringing him back.

According to media reports, he had fled to Azerbaijan with a fake passport and took refuge there. He had also applied for political asylum there. It is believed that with the arrest of Sachin Bishnoi, much important information can be gathered. 

It is being said that Sachin is the nephew of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and was arrested in Azerbaijan. 

Popular Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in May 2022 in Mansa district. Since then the investigation is underway.
