Kanpur: In a surprising incident in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a large quantity of shredded 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 rupee notes was discovered scattered along the highway on Friday. This discovery caused significant commotion. Upon learning about the shredded notes, the SDM of Bilhaur, along with senior police officers, rushed to the location. The police gathered the shredded notes into three sacks and transported them to the police station for investigation. They are now working to determine whether the notes are genuine or counterfeit.

A substantial pile of shredded notes was found along the service lane near Meduwa village in the Araul police station area. Villagers suspect that the notes were machine-cut and then discarded along the service lane. They believe the wind from passing vehicles would disperse the shredded notes across the highway. There is also suspicion that these could have been black money being disposed of.

SP Leader visits the Scene In Kanpur
Upon hearing about the shredded notes, SP leader and former assembly candidate Rachna Singh arrived at the scene. She first recorded a video with the shredded notes and then declared them as a symbol of corruption. The video featuring the SP leader with the shredded notes has since gone viral on social media.
Police Investigation Underway
According to the in-charge of the Araul police station, the police received information around 2:30 PM about pieces of currency notes scattered along the service lane near Meduwa village. Upon reaching the scene, they found shredded pieces of 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 rupee notes. An investigation is necessary to determine if the notes are genuine or counterfeit. The shredded notes have been collected and secured in sacks. Further legal action will be taken following the investigation.
