Rohini Acharya has stirred controversy once again by posting fresh allegations on social media just a day after announcing her decision to quit politics and disown her family. In a post on X, on Sunday, she has detailed the humiliation and abuse she faced at her home, claiming she was forced to leave her maternal home and endure public insult, all while standing firm on her self-respect and truth.

While she has not named anyone in the post, Rohini has hinted that the humiliation was inflicted by those closest to her. In her emotional post, Rohini alleged that she even faced the threat of being hit with a slipper. She wrote that she refused to compromise on her self-respect or surrender the truth, and because of this, she had to endure the abuse. Rohini further claimed she was forced to leave behind her “crying parents” and sisters, leaving her feeling “orphaned.” Concluding her post, she expressed hope that no one should ever have to walk the path she did or have a daughter or sister face what she endured.

Was told I am dirty: Rohini
In a separate post, Rohini claimed she was cursed at and told she was “dirty,” and that she had her “dirty kidney” transplanted into her father after taking crores of rupees and securing a political ticket. She has even warned married daughters and sisters never to step in to save their fathers when there is a son in the family, saying the responsibility should fall on the son or even his friends.

"Yesterday, I was cursed at and told that I am dirty, and that I got my father to have my dirty kidney transplanted into him, took crores of rupees, bought a ticket, and then got that dirty kidney put in... To all the daughters and sisters who are married, I will say that when there's a son or brother in your maternal home, never, ever save your god-like father; instead, tell your brother, the son of that house, to get his own kidney or that of one of his Haryanvi friends transplanted," she stated.

I did not compromise on my self-respect, I did not surrender the truth, and solely because of this, I had to endure this insult. Yesterday, a daughter, out of compulsion, left behind her crying parents and sisters and came away; they tore me away from my maternal home. They left me orphaned. May none of you ever walk my path, may no family ever have a daughter-sister like Rohini,” she wrote on X.
On Saturday, Rohini had announced to quit politics, and disown her family, adding that she was asked to do by RJD leader Sanjay Yadav, a close aide of Tejashwi Yadav. This came after Bihar Assembly Election 2025 results were announced on November 14, and the Mahagathbandhan led by RJD's Tejashwi faced a crushing defeat. "I’m quitting politics and I’m disowning my family … This is what Sanjay Yadav and Rameez had asked me to do …nd I’m taking all the blame’s," Rohini posted on X.
