What was an ordinary toy for a young boy in Jammu and Kashmir's Asrarabad turned out to be chinese made rifle scope. The chilling discovery was made when Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday saw a 6-year-old playing with a device he found in a garbage dump. After a closer inspection, the authorities seized the telescope attachment used with assault and sniper rifles near the NIA headquarters.
Investigations Underway
Police and Special Operations Group (SOG) teams later conducted a thorough search in Jammu's Sidhra region to identify the source of the weaponry. Senior officers also investigated the area where the Chinese-made weapons attachments were found amid heightened security concerns.
