Surat Mass Suicide: A shocking incident has been reported from Gujarat’s Surat where as many as 7 members of a family died by suicide. The police has also recovered a suicide note from the incident site.
As the police has started the investigation, they are suspecting that the family was going through some financial crisis that make them took the extreme step. However, they could not confirm the reason yet. The police is probing the matter from all possible angles that could have led the mass suicide.
“Seven members of a family have committed suicide. They have written a suicide note, and we are verifying the reason,” said Rakesh Barot, DCP, Surat.

“It appears mostly to be an economic problem. Further investigation is underway,” said he.
