Investigations have further revealed that all clandestine activities were being conducted using a single PAN card. Alongside these revelations, a new investigation involving the chairperson of Al Falah University may lead to further exposures. The university and various other affiliated colleges have come under strict scrutiny. The presence of a single PAN card across all registered bank accounts has led investigators to conclude that all financial activities were controlled by a single trust.

Revelations After Analysis of ITR

Investigation agencies have been examining tax returns from the year 2014–15 to 2024–25.
Their review revealed that the trust showcased donations worth Rs 30.89 crore and Rs 29.48 crore.
From 2016–17 onwards, earnings were shown as educational income.

Suspicion of Fake Accreditation and Fraud

The ED and other investigating agencies stated that the trust primarily runs colleges and universities, with student fees being its main source of income. However, for many years, the institution operated without valid accreditation. Despite this, students were charged full fees — a practice that agencies consider fraud and forgery.

The FIR has also revealed that students were granted admission based on false recognitions. Fake documents were prepared, and illegal earnings were generated on the basis of these fraudulent claims.

How 78 Acres Transformed Al Falah University

The university initially started with only 20 acres of land, but soon expanded to 78 acres. Members of the village council had previously filed numerous complaints about encroachment of village road land. Since the university is located in the middle of farmland, questions have also been raised about it having a single access route.
