Sharad Pawar appoints Supriya Sule, Praful Patel as working president of NCP

Mumbai: Nationalist Congress party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday announced to appoint Supriya Sule and Praful Patel as working presidents of the Party. 

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister announced the new development at the 25th anniversary of the NCP which he founded in 1999 along with PA Sangma.

Pawar made the announcement in the presence of his nephew Ajit Pawar who is a key player in the Nationalist Congress Party. 

Last month, Sharad Pawar offered his resignation as president of the party but took back his decision after party workers across the Maharashtra and nation requested him to do so.

Supriya Sule is daughter of Sharad Pawar. she is a member of parliament from Maharashtra while Praful Patel is one of the Pawar’s loyalist and senior leader of NCP.
