New Delhi: The December 13 incident of security breach in the Parliament has created havoc in the law and order of the national capital. Now that all the intruders are arrested and the mastermind, Lalit Jha, has surrendered, new revelations are coming up every day in the interrogation.
Plan A failed because…
The plan for security breach started baking 1.5 years ago. It was at the eleventh hour that one of the six participants restrained himself from going to the Parliament. As per the recent statement of Lalit Jha, plan A was to self-immolate inside and outside of the Parliament. This team was looking for a ‘fire retardant gel’ to limit burn injuries because of course dying wasn’t their plan.
Due to the unavailability of that gel, they had to drop this self-immolation idea.
Plan B executed!
After plan A couldn’t materialize, Lalit Jha and the team had to switch to plan B which was the smoke canister. Smoke bombs were hurled inside the Parliament in between the proceedings and outside the building simultaneously and Lalit Jha was recording all this on his phone.
He fleed to Rajasthan as he saw his mates being apprehended and taken into custody.
New political party?
As per cops who are investigating this case, Lalit Jha and his team wanted to cause anarchy and form a political party. Other accused say that they were inspired by freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. Out of dissatisfaction, they wanted the ‘deaf ears’ to hear them and to eventually get into politics.
More than unemployment
While all the accused have been talking of unemployment that led to this disturbing step, the story still seems a mystery. Not that unemployment is a new issue of the day but making a plan to dodge layers of security of Parliament for more than 17 months can’t be triggered by unemployment. Vacancies come and go in this big span.
Also, the accused were seen with Congress and TMC leaders and received an entry pass via Pratap Simha, a BJP MP, which depicts that the story is way more than unemployment.
And the horrifying decision of self-immolation reveals that there are many chapters in this book to unfold.
